    For people who want to see the amazing coral reefs without getting wet! Watch the underwater world through a magnifying glass on the sde of the boat from the lower deck. The lower deck has a depth of around 2-3m. This makes the marine life visible.

    The boat departs from Port Ghalib. Choose from the different options:

    Nefertari / Seascope - around a 2-hour cruise in the morning to visit the reefs.

    Mega Nefrarti - Afternoon cruise: a snorkeling stop, visiting reefs, seafood dinner. 1-hour for shopping when returning back to Port Ghalib.

  • Resorts will be busy after Ramadan as Egyptian families will go away to celebrate. Ramadan is a sacred month when Muslims fast from dawn until sunset. Ramadan for the year 2021 starts on the evening of Monday, the 12th April lasting 30 days and ending at sundown on Tuesday the 11th of May.

    The Sights

    Visit the ancient city of Berenice where there are many interesting things to see including a Bedouin museum, the ruined Temple of Semiramis and the remains of the emerald mines of Wadi Sakai. To the north is the celebrated Wadi El Gemal National Park, or Valley of the Camels, which boasts a 60km deep ‘wadi (dry river bed) along with mangrove forests, corals reefs, seagrass beds, a salt marsh and palm groves.

    Hamata offers a selection of fantastic scuba diving spots, or you may prefer snorkeling at Satayah Reef where you could come face to face with a pod of dolphins. Lahami Bay’s turquoise lagoons and white sands are secluded and peaceful and lead into a wonderful house reef where you can dive from early morning into the night. You can also take a boat trip to some amazing dive sites that were previously only accessible by liveaboard.
